September brings as wonderful shift of seasons, with chilly mornings, warm days and cosy evenings setting in as Autumn arrives 🍂

A blend of warm spices starts to fill the air as cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger make their way back into my doughs and batters 🍰

And, for me, it’s my birthday month, so September comes along with a little extra sprinkle of birthday magic ✨️

This time last week I was thrilled to have the opportunity to create my very first wedding cake for Laura & Jeff's wedding celebrations!!

Being in the middle of another summer heat wave and facing 34 degrees heat was definitely a challenge, but I am very pleased to report that everything went to plan and the cake was a huge success!

All my fears of presenting a melting cake were avoided, and a milestone proudly achieved for myself and my business!

Laura & Jeff....many congratulations and thank you for letting me play a part in your special day 💖

Shout out to Chrissie and all those at The Sloop Inn Sussex for keeping the cake at its very best throughout the afternoon, thank you! 🙏

Are you a fan of a Demi Godgon or a buttered Eggo waffles?!!

Well birthday girl Lily certainly is, and recived this fun themed biscuit set for her and her friends to enjoy!

Definitely a theme to expand on I feel...there are plenty more designs i could add to this set! Dustin's cap, a cassette tape....what else would you add?

So guess what the birthday boy's favourite food is!! 🍕🍕🍕

I must admit I was a little apprehensive that these biscuits wouldn't end up looking like pizza slices at all, and would be more of a mish mash of icing colours, but the reception they got at the party told me otherwise! Phew! 😅

There were some very happy party guests going home with one of these in their party bags!!

Friends has to be one of my all time favourite TV series! I remember watching it when it first aired back in the 90's, when I was just a teenager, and I've loved it ever since.

It's packed with some of the most memorable one-liners, sarcastic responses and catchprases, like "Joey doesn't share food!", "We were on a break!", "My eyes! My eyes!", and of course "How you doin'?"

So it seemed fitting to create this set of fab Friends themed birthday biscuits for another big fan of the show!
