Such a joy to celebrate my cousin's wedding and make their cake!

Can't say baking in 35°C heat was the best so the cake spent most of its time in the freezer 😅 Otherwise it managed not to melt on the day and the footballs worked well amongst the flowers ⚽

Can't believe baby girl is now 1!!

I decided to make her favourite toy out of cake (we've lost the red ball, but pretty sure it's in the lounge somewhere 😅) it was certainly a challenge to decorate whilst Eri wanted to play so it's not the neatest and perhaps related to the leaning tower of Pisa 🫠

She devoured it nonetheless and it was a joy to celebrate with family 🥰

Sometimes it's better to keep things simple 🥰
I had great fun making this naked cake to celebrate Mum + Dad O's anniversary 🎉

I used butter butter for the sponge for a change as our fridge has died in the heat but it really brought out the vanilla taste 😋 also this is definitely some of my best piping - who knew "Anniversary" had so many letters 😅

Made a classic sponge with brown sugar to add a caramel flavour. Also used some caramel in the filling that my mum made for my birthday cake 🥰

Last week we celebrated my Mummy and it wouldn't be a birthday without cake!!

Decided to make the Bake Off cake as my mum loves chocolate just as much as me 😅 the raspberries complemented the dark chocolate ganache and the dusting of icing sugar brings it all together 🥰
