As many of you may already know, the new street trading licence introduced by the council has now come into effect for cake sheds. This means anyone operating a cake shed must now pay £1007 per year to continue selling bakes from a shed located on their own property.
While many bakers are currently challenging and discussing these changes, we are working closely with West Suffolk Council to obtain our official Cake Shed licence so we can continue our bakery shed journey.
For the time being, the shed will unfortunately remain closed unless pre-booked collections have already been arranged. But don’t worry — we’ll be going back to how our journey first began: offering collections!
Tomorrow we’ll be posting our full cakes and bakes menu along with pricing, so you can choose your favourites to be freshly boxed up by us and collected either from the shed or personally from us 💎
