One of my favourite things about wedding cakes is that they don’t have to follow a formula. They can be completely you - from the flavours to the tiniest personal details.
A couple of fun facts about this beautiful couple’s cake:

🍓 The bride absolutely LOVES strawberries, but they aren't in season around her birthday, so we created an off-menu chocolate & strawberry combination especially for their wedding cake.

✨ Their bespoke monogram was taken from their wedding invitations and beautifully recreated by the brilliant Amelie’s Kitchen Stencils - making their cake feel truly personal to them.
Because your wedding cake should be more than just something pretty to cut into. It should tell a little piece of your story.

One year ago today, this beautiful cake became part of a brand new chapter.
Happy 1st Anniversary to the lovely couple! I hope your first year of marriage has been filled with as much joy, laughter and love as your wedding day.
One of my favourite parts of designing wedding cakes is knowing they're there for one of life's biggest celebrations. Long after the last slice has been enjoyed, the photographs become treasured reminders of the day, and I'm always so grateful to have played a small part in those memories.

Turning 40 only happens once....and when it's your girl gang, you make an exception 🎂✨
I don't make many celebration cakes these days, but there was no way I was letting my favourite people celebrate such a big milestone without a cake. Now that the baby of the group has had her party and our 40th birthday celebrations have officially come to an end, here's a little look back at the cakes I created for them all.
As for my own cake... well, let's just say I spared everyone the photo - You know what Colin the Caterpillar looks like, don't you? 🐛😂 To be fair, I don't blame them... who wants the pressure of making a cake for a cake maker anyway?! 🙈💛

An unforgettable time was had this weekend on the cobbles of Hvar with these amazing girls who I've been lucky to have in my life longer than out of it. My throat still hurts from laughing so much, my feet are still recovering from all the dancing & if you cut me I would bleed Aperol! 🍹
