It's been a while so I thought I would share some of my recent cakes.

This cake was made for the beautiful Darla, who is a huge Peppa pig fan (this is the second year in a row I've made her a peppa cake) 🐷

We went for something a little bit different this year and I love how it turned out!!

My daughter's Birthday cake!

My daughter's birthday was in June so we were in lockdown but I wanted to still make it speacial. So, as she's a big toy story fan I thought I'd go all out and get as many of her favourite characters on the her cake as possible!

It was a large cake so there were some lucky neighbours and grandparents that got lots of cake and we were having it for breakfast, lunch and dinner 😂 it's 2020 so why not!!

The whole cake was completly edible and all decorations were handmade!

2020 has definitely been a difficult year for everyone!
I've been a lot quieter in the kitchen due to restrictions, homeschooling and obviously less celebrations.
Luckily some people have managed to still celebrate, whether on a much smaller scale or during lifted restrictions so I'm grateful for those cakes to keep my creative mind occupied!

I'm going to share with you all some more of my 2020 cakes that I haven't got around to sharing yet...

First we have this simple yet elegant 60th birthday cake with hand painted gold detail and foliage 🌿

It may have been a different Christmas this year but I wasn't letting that stop my tradition of making a Christmassy cake for the family.

I just had to make a tiny one (5 inch), I think he's quite cute though! 🎅

It 3 tiny layers of vanilla sponge with cinnamon swirl buttetcream.

I hope everyone has managed to still have a lovely Christmas!
