Honoured to create this vibrant cake for Rahima’s Mehndi. 🧡🩷

A Mehndi is such a joyful part of the celebrations leading up to a wedding, traditionally filled with family, friends, music, dancing and, of course, the beautiful henna designs applied to the bride’s hands and feet.

So it only felt right for the cake to be just as full of colour! Rich florals, warm autumnal tones and that pop of pink coming together for Rahima’s special celebration. 🤍

Hey there! 👋🏼🤍

It’s been a while since I’ve properly introduced myself on here, and with quite a few new faces following recently, I thought it was probably about time!

I’m Rhian, 31 years young… only just 😂, the owner, baker, decorator, admin department, social media manager and everything in between behind Bake-A-Licious Cheshire. 😂

I’ve been running my little home-based cake business for nearly 6 years now, and in that time I’ve achieved things I genuinely never imagined I would… because when you strip it all back, it’s still just me, baking away in my little kitchen. 🤍

Nearly 6 years of Bake-A-Licious looks a little something like…

• 100+ wedding cakes
• 1,000+ birthday cakes
• Goodness knows how many cupcakes, biscuits, brownies & blondies 😂

And a few little pinch-me moments along the way…

Not bad for one woman and her little kitchen. 😂🤍

Away from the cakes, I’m a mum to two boys, Rory and Ralphy — the calm and the storm, complete chalk and cheese, and the reason why I work as hard as I do.

I’ve also recently become the new co-host of the Totally Absolutely Engaged podcast, which basically gives me another excuse to talk about weddings… as if I needed one. 😂

I’m a bit of a gym freak and can regularly be found throwing weights around in my local gym. I tell myself I’m building the strength required to carry your wedding cakes… 💪🏼🎂

And finally, NEWS FLASH… the hair is fake. 😂 I am NOT a natural ginger, despite my see-through skin and freckles doing their absolute best to convince you otherwise.

So that’s me! Cake maker, mum, podcast co-host, gym lover and unnatural ginge. 🤍
