This is the widest cake I have ever made.
A birthday cake with a twist for a chap who has raced all over the world using a variety of modes.
Wanting something different from the norm, we came up with this huge edible world map with a checkerboard edging 🏁🏁

Three tiers of gorgeous lime & white chocolate and vanilla & raspberry cakes draped in handmade sugar foliage and just a few discreet white sugar flowers.

It is rare that I am asked to make a traditional fruit cake when it's not Christmas but I do love the delicious aroma!

This one has been quietly maturing for over two months.
It has been fed with brandy and is waiting for its starring role in a gorgeous wedding later this month.
