Hello there everyone. I hope you’re all well.

I just wanted to let you know that I am officially closing. It’s not been an easy decision for me, far from it in fact 🥺 Running my own business has been incredibly hard work, but I’ve loved every minute (well apart from baking in the occasional heatwave 😂) and have been very proud of each and every cake and cupcake order I’ve made.

I want to also say a massive THANK YOU to you all for your support over the years, and trusting me to bring your ideas to life…without you, there wouldn’t have been Cupcakes by Lesley 🩷

I’ll keep my page open for the time being as I still get messages and I’m more than happy to recommend some other amazing local bakers.

Please read….

After a lot of careful consideration, I have decided that I will be taking a break from baking for a little while. All orders which I have either confirmed or are currently in discussion with you about will be completed as I do not want to let anybody down, but any new requests or queries will not be met for the foreseeable.
This has not been an easy decision for me to make, but the right one at this point. I really hope that you will understand and hopefully I will be back to baking and creating for you all very soon.

I’ve had the privilege of making every one of Olivia’s cakes since her very first birthday 🥰 Each one very different in design, but this is definitely up there as one of my favourites. It was so pretty.

I made Simba on the top of the cake but the other characters were supplied by the customer.
