Heat press machine not working? Here are some quick checks many users overlook 👇

🔌 Machine won’t turn on
Check the power cable and outlet. Loose plugs, faulty power strips, or a tripped breaker are surprisingly common causes.

🔥 Machine not heating up
Ensure the temperature is set properly and the machine has enough time to warm up. If the display shows but there is still no heat, the heating element or fuse might need inspecting.

🌡 Temperature seems inaccurate
Sometimes the display shows the correct number, but the platen temperature differs. Let the press preheat slightly longer and consider checking with an infrared thermometer.

⚖️ Pressure feels uneven
This often occurs if the pressure k**b isn’t correctly adjusted or if there’s a seam or zipper beneath the pressing area. Ensure the surface is flat before pressing.

⏱ Timer not starting
Many heat presses only activate the timer when the handle is fully closed. If the timer doesn’t start, try pressing the handle down firmly.

🧯 Machine suddenly stops heating
Some machines have safety protection that shuts off heating when they overheat. Turn it off, let it cool, then restart.

Most heat press problems aren’t serious mechanical failures — they’re usually small setup details that are easy to fix.
