Sugar Cookies 🤍
4 Ingredients only - none of the additives found in supermarket cookies.
Super easy recipe to bake with children!
170g butter
150g caster sugar
1 egg
320g plain flour
- Cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add the egg and mix together.
- Fold in the flour until a dough is formed.
- Divide the dough into 2 pieces.
- Roll out the dough and place onto a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
- Chill in the fridge for 1 hour.
- Use your favourite cookie cutters!
- Bake in the oven at 180C for 9-12 minutes (keep checking on them!)
Dust with icing sugar or decorate with royal icing (icing sugar and water)
