Mixing it up this week with feedback Sunday 😆..

I really do put my heart & creative soul in to every cake I do 🩷. I absolutely don’t expect feedback every time but hearing lovely feedback at times is as they say - “the cherry on top of the cake” for me 🍒🥹.

Over the years, I’ve seen so many people grow in life from different life events when I’m asked to make engagement cakes, weddings, christenings & to all the birthday cakes too 🫶🏻✨ - it really is so special that I’m including it the smallest of way 🎂.

Coraline themed vintage heart cake 🖤🔮🪡✨

What a cake to kickstart October 💜. I loved making this one for a lovely girls 21st birthday celebrations. A small chocolate heart cake with chocolate buttercream filling 🍫. The birthday girl was having a Coraline themed dinner party - I hope she had the best time 🥰.

I have so much to upload & messages to get back to but this baker has got one more cake to be collected today & then she’s about to curl up in a ball lol 😴😂!

Seeing double 👀❤️🎂…

Two identical cakes for Geoff’s 80th birthday celebrations 🩵. Geoff’s wife got in touch to say she was needing two cakes, one cake (a 6” normal tier) for family then another cake (8” round normal tier) for friends for a few days later - it was going to be a week long celebration 🎉. The brief was sailing theme with a touch of his favourite things, so we added a curling stone & a camera 📸✨. When I was decorating these cake I was even placing the sprinkles in the exact places to make them identical lol 🫶🏻.

I hope they are having a lovely time celebrating the big 80 🎂✨.

I would just like to wish a big congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs McKechnie, who got married on Saturday in the gorgeous Tontine Hotel 🌸.

A large heart vintage cake in vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam 😘. And also on the same day, it was the brides birthday 🥹. So her wonderful sister messaged to say they needed a birthday cake too as a wee surprise 🪩. When they came to collect the cakes, you would of thought I gave them the world when they seen their cakes 🥹, I was nearly crying myself - I really do put so much into people’s cakes, it’s beyond lovely when they love their cake 🩷.

Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your day - beautiful couple 🎂. Wishing Chloe & Gary a lifetime of happiness together 🥂✨xo

I loved doing this for Leo’s 18th birthday celebrations ✨. The style his mum picked is just 😘🤌🏼. A 6” round tall tier in vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam & 9 matching cupcakes 🤩. Then topped with images of little Leo 🥹. The cutest thing ever!

I hope Leo had a fab 18th ✨xo

Mr & Mrs Robertson 🤍🌿👰🏻‍♀️✨

I would just like to wish a big congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Robertson, who got married on 29th of August at the gorgeous Ardgowan Estate then on to the Chartroom 🤍🤩.

They went for a 3 tier cake 🫶🏻. The cake was all vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream ✨. A textured buttercream design with a beautiful floral centre for the front of the cake🌿. Loved this one 🤍.

Ivy’s Christening Cake 🤍🎀

A 8” round tallest tier (4 layers)
Vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream & raspberry jam 🩷.
Finished in pretty pearls & a gorgeous pink bow 🎀

This cake was HUGE!! The picture definitely doesn’t do it justice 🫶🏻

I hope they all had a wonderful time celebrating Ivy’s Christening 🪽🩷✨

Mr & Mrs Wilson 🤍🎱👰🏻‍♀️✨

I would just like to wish a big congratulations to the new Mr & Mrs Wilson, who got married on Saturday at the fabulous Clyde Suite.

They went for a 3 tier cake 🫶🏻. The cake was all vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and raspberry jam ✨. The groom plays pool for Scotland, so the bride wanted to have a wee nod to that on the cake ❤️. So we went for a pool table topper with the bride and groom figures 🫶🏻😆. I love when people do something a bit different, makes it so much more personal ✨.
