I've been very M.I.A from creating cakes and bakes. I took a hiatus because I was growing two babies and am now very out of practice. I'm going to try to get back into baking soon and see what I can create. But for now, enjoy the very simple but tasty cupcakes that I made for our baby shower. I am hoping to make some content cakes and build my decorating skills (the cake is the easy part).

'Ohana Means Family💙

Made a stitch inspired cake for a special girl's 8th birthday party! Theme and decorations inspired by the birthday girl herself; Blue, flowers, leaves, palmtrees, sand, her age, a surfboard, and of course, Stitch! The chocolate cake with Chocolate ganache buttercream was a non-negotiable. I made the outer layer white chocolate ganache buttercream to give it that extra layer of smooth velvety goodness 🤤 and felt that the cake needed a little extra, so added Lilo and Stitch to the back of the cake as an extra surprise. I wanted the cake to look like the sea and sand meeting at the shore, which I feel looks really cute. And I hope the birthday girl loves eating it as much as I loved making it. 🌺🌊
