Lisbeth Nursing Home We offer short and long term services including Residential, Nursing and Dementia Care. Every day should be meaningful, different and have purpose.

We understand that moving into a Care Home is a big step, which is why we feel it is important to involve family members as much as possible. We offer “Supported Admissions” for our new residents. This is where a friend or family member can stay at our home on the day of admission with their family member to help them settle in and enjoy their first meal together and get to know our wonderful staff. I am Andrea Walker, the Home Manager. I am a qualified Nurse and have been working in care for 30 years. I want to tailor every aspect of our residents’ care to their specific needs, wishes and individual personality. Each of my residents will be treated with respect and shown love as if their were a personal family member. Every member of my team is skilled, patient, compassionate and always willing to go above and beyond simply to re-assure and make our residents happy.

🎃🍂 What a busy day we've had at Lisbeth!

Today we've been getting stuck into our pumpkin activities, scooping out all the insides and getting them ready for some Halloween fun! 🎃 We also enjoyed a relaxing foot spa afternoon followed by a little game of our favourite Balloon Tap! 💆‍♀️🎈

A lovely Keep Fit session with Chris today! 😊❤️

Our residents enjoyed a mix of Tai Chi, ball passing, gentle stretches and gripping exercises, helping to keep everyone moving, active and involved. 💪⚽

💕 Yesterday at Lisbeth Nursing Home, we enjoyed a quiet and cosy day!

There was a little bit of dancing in the bedrooms, singing along to our favourite songs, and some gentle exercises with our much-loved game of balloon tap! 🎶🎈

💕🎀 Breast Cancer Awareness Tea Party at Lisbeth Nursing Home 🎀💕

What a lovely afternoon we’ve had today! 💗 We were delighted to welcome Becca Gee, who kept our residents, relatives and staff entertained with plenty of singing and dancing! 🎶💃

A big thank you to Shortie Paula for the beautiful cupcakes and all her hard work, and to Kath for the lovely sandwiches, sausage rolls and other goodies. 🧁🥪

Thank you to Ashlin for helping with the tea party, and well done to all our wonderful carers who helped make today so special for our residents. ❤️

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported us. All money raised will go towards Breast Cancer Research. Your generosity is greatly appreciated! 💗🎀

The balloon tap brought plenty of fun, and the fruit kebabs went down a treat! 😋 Everyone enjoyed getting involved and having a lovely day together. ❤️

🤣😂 We think Rita might be ready to take over the Activities Coordinator role!

Yesterday, Rita stepped into the role and gave us all a good laugh! 🤣 She ran a bingo session, played the part brilliantly, and even announced she was resigning! 😂 Ashlin must have been putting her under too much pressure with all her requests!

Then came the drinks trolley, where Rita announced we were “on rations” after Ashlin asked for FOUR biscuits! 🍪🤣

Looks like Ashlin might be the reason Rita is already wanting to quit! 🤣🤣❤️
