& that is what I desire to share with you through this space! Ever since I baked for the first time eight years ago, the wonder of baking has captured my heart. The first three years of my baking journey took place in South Africa working for a very talented lady by the name of Leigh Markou. Not long after I started, Leigh moved to London to start up a beautiful coffee shop with her husband and their three daughters. I stayed in South Africa running the amazing Red Velvet Kitchen but then the fear of missing out soon got to me and I decided to whisk myself across the seas to join in on all the fun in London and became part of The Brownie Box family. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, life quickly changed. During lockdown I was not able to go to work and I came across an online "side hustle" baker's course by Philosophy Of Yum, which then gave me the confidence to take a leap of faith and start up my own home bakery.
