PICNIC THIS WEEKEND! As we head into the bank holiday weekend we have been feeling nostalgic for that back to school time of year. To celebrate a picnic together with you all and quite frankly any excuse, we decided to bring back the iced fingers!
Many of you really loved these when we first made them right at the beginning of the bakery journey. So we wanted to bring them back and celebrate their blissful simplicity and nostalgia.
As always whilst stocks last on the day. We can’t wait to see you on Saturday!

We’re celebrating the end of summer with a Basement Bakehouse picnic series — the perfect excuse to gather your favourite people, head outdoors and enjoy some seriously delicious bakes.

Think iced fingers, freshly baked treats, savoury stromboli, delicious coffee or Brasilian lemonade and plenty of other reasons to linger.

Bring the kids, bring your dog’s, meet up with friends and don’t forget a blanket.
There will be games available to enjoy….
so make the most of those last golden days of summer before school is back.

A huge thank you to Ifield School for welcoming us as part of their staff wellness activities for the last day of term. We were thrilled to be asked back again this year to provide a profiterole workshop for some of the amazing staff at the school.
The team at Ifield do an incredible job supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and it was great to spend the morning with such a fun and welcoming group.
We hope the whole team has a well-earned, sunny summer ahead ☀️
