PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Our ovens have officially joined forces with the sun… and they’ve won!

This weekend, Quaint Crumb Honesty Bakery will be closed because it’s simply too hot to bake. Our bread doesn’t need proving—it starts rising just by looking out the window!

We’ll be back open as soon as the weather gives us (and ourselves!) a bit of a break.

Thank you so much for all your amazing support. We really appreciate every one of you and can’t wait to welcome you back soon for fresh bakes and cooler days.

Stay cool, keep hydrated, and please don’t try frying an egg on the pavement… unless you fancy washing it up afterwards!

See you soon,

Henry & Katie

SUNDAY’S FEATURED SUSPECT: THE CUSTARD CREAM SLICE

We took a photo of the Custard Cream Slice today because, frankly, it’s become impossible to ignore. Sitting there looking all innocent while quietly convincing customers they need “just one little treat.”

Made with actual Custard Cream biscuit pieces (because one Custard Cream simply wasn’t enough), this beauty is joined by a bakery counter full of other troublemakers:

• Oreo Cookie Pie – for people who think Oreos are great but should really be much bigger.

• Jammie Dodger Slice – packed with those famous biscuit pieces and enough jammy goodness to make your inner child very happy.

• Custard Cream Slice – today’s star attraction. Crunchy biscuit pieces, creamy topping, and absolutely no intention of helping with anyone’s diet.

• Jamaican Ginger Cake – full of warming ginger flavour and just the right amount of “I’ll just have a small piece”… followed by another.

• Rocky Road – containing more bits than a DIY shop. Biscuit pieces, marshmallow pieces, chocolate pieces… basically all the best bits.

And if you’re genuinely coming for bread (which we’re sure you are)…

• White Farmhouse Loaf
• Wholemeal Farmhouse Loaf

…we’ll happily support that version of events.

Find us on Newton Way, Woolsthorpe by Colsterworth.

Remember, life is all about enjoying the little things. Especially when those little things contain biscuit pieces.

BREAKING NEWS FROM THE QUAINT CRUMB

After a few weeks of being closed, we’re delighted to announce that we have emerged from our flour-covered hibernation and are OPEN again!

The ovens are back on, the cake tins are working overtime, and we’ve finally remembered where we left the keys.

Today’s line-up of irresistible temptation includes:

• Oreo Cookie Pie – because one biscuit was never going to be enough.
• Jammie Dodger Slice – dodging diets since forever.
• Custard Cream Slice – the biscuit’s sophisticated cousin.
• Jamaican Ginger Cake – packed with more spice than the local village gossip.
• Rocky Road – still easier to navigate than real life.

And for those who insist they’re “just popping in for bread”:

• White Farmhouse Loaf
• Wholemeal Farmhouse Loaf

Come and stock up before everything mysteriously disappears. We suspect hungry customers, although we haven’t completely ruled out cake-loving gremlins.

Open today, fully stocked, and ready to support all your questionable weekend snack decisions. No judgement here—we baked it.

See you soon,

SUNDAY AT QUAINT CRUMB

This is your official warning that today’s counter is looking dangerously snackable.

Fresh in the shop today on Newton Way, Woolsthorpe by Colsterworth:

Mars Bar Cookie Pie
Absolutely no nutritional value emotionally speaking… unless happiness counts.

Stroopwafel Brownie
So gooey it should probably come with a lifeguard.

Custard Cream Slice
Like your favourite biscuit went on holiday, found confidence, and came back glamorous.

Lemon Drizzle
Sharp enough to wake you up faster than your Sunday alarm.

Rocky Road
Held together by marshmallows, chocolate, and pure chaos.

And for the people claiming they came in “just for bread”…

White Farmhouse
Perfect for toast, sandwiches, or eating half the loaf in the car park.

Wholemeal Sourdough
Makes you feel sophisticated even if you’re eating beans on toast.

White Sourdough
Crunchy, chewy, and capable of making butter disappear instantly.

Pop in before everything vanishes faster than motivation on a Sunday afternoon.

🚨 SATURDAY’S COUNTER IS OUT OF CONTROL 🚨

Today at Quaint Crumb Honesty Bakery we’ve got enough sugar and carbs to solve at least 83% of life’s problems.

Mars Bar Cookie Pie
Absolutely no nutritional value… spiritually healing though.

Stroopwafel Brownie
A brownie and a stroopwafel walked into a bakery and created this absolute menace.

Custard Cream Slice
Like your childhood snacks got a glow-up and started paying council tax.

Lemon Drizzle
Sharp enough to wake you up faster than your morning coffee.

Rocky Road
Looks chaotic. Tastes magnificent. Much like most Saturdays.

And the breads…

White Farmhouse Loaf
Perfect for sandwiches you pretend are a “light lunch” while eating 3 brownies.

Wholemeal Sourdough
For people wanting to feel healthy before buying cake.

White Sourdough
Crunchy, chewy and capable of making butter disappear instantly.

Get yourself down to Newton Way before it all vanishes into the hands of people who said they were “just coming in for one thing”… 👀

Weekend Warning from The Quaint Crumb Honest Bakery

This Saturday & Sunday, Newton Way may smell suspiciously amazing… and honestly, we can’t be held responsible for any sudden “I’ll just pop in for one thing” behaviour.

Fresh from the ovens and dangerously tempting this weekend:

* Mars Bar Cookie Pie – because subtlety is overrated
* Stroopwafel Brownie – chewy, gooey, and worth cancelling plans for
* Lemon Drizzle – practically sunshine in cake form
* Custard Cream Slice – childhood nostalgia, but upgraded
* Rocky Road – piled high with all the good stuff

And for the bread lovers:

* White Farmhouse Loaf
* Wholemeal Sourdough
* White Sourdough

Come early… because once it’s gone, you’ll just have to stare sadly through the window until next weekend.

At The Quaint Crumb Honesty Bakery today, the white sourdough has officially reached “main character energy” status.

Freshly baked, cut open, fluffy in the middle and crunchy on the outside… honestly it deserves its own slow-motion movie montage.

Today’s line-up of troublemakers includes:

Cherry Bakewell Flapjack – because apparently flapjack wasn’t addictive enough already.
Kinder Cookie Pie – subtle as a brick, but twice as comforting.
Chocolate Peppermint Slice – basically if an After Eight had a glow-up.
Jammy Dodger Slice – childhood nostalgia in cake form.
Carrot Cake – contains carrots, therefore basically a salad.

Bread squad reporting for duty:

White Farmhouse Loaf – ideal for sandwiches the size of your head.
Wholemeal Sourdough – for people trying to feel responsible while buying cake.
White Sourdough – crispy crust, fluffy middle, zero chance of surviving the journey home untouched.

Find us on Newton Way, Woolsthorpe by Colsterworth.

Pop in today… because self-control is overrated on Sundays anyway.
