Last week I visited cleaverandwake with an amazing group of suppliers for a styled shoot!
The theme was champagne and lace (very appropriate as cleaver and wake is situated close to the traditional lace market)

The bottom tier featured soft layers of edible lace made from saracinodolci cake paper and wafer paper.

The lace effect middle tier was created using couturesugarpaste and prop.options chantilly whisper rolling pin by ekats.

The top tier was a classic white tier with a delicate sprinkling of pearls.

R & D

Last week I had the pleasure of creating this cake for R & D and delivering it to allingtonmanor

The cake was adorned in beautiful flowers from the very talented The Flower Fairy
Lots of beautiful dahlias, roses and Lisianthus!

I know the wedding guests would have had a wonderful time especially when the father of the bride and his helpers came in to move the tables to the edges of the marquee so that they had a bigger dance space! 🪩

Topper provided by the bride and groom.

This beautiful white fondant covered cake was delivered to burghleyhouse on Friday!

I was so lucky to see inside some of the house and beautiful gardens!

The cake was fondant covered with a subtle fondant piping effect using couturesugarpaste

Happy birthday to my mother in law who turned 70 today!

Inside was a Black Forest flavour with a fudgy chocolate sponge, vanilla buttercream and a cherry conserve.
I used my new chocolate sponge recipe and it went down really well! I don’t usually like chocolate cake but even I loved it!
It’s tastes like 1/2 brownie 1/2 chocolate sponge!
