Yesterday I had the pleasure of delivering this cake to Belton Park Golf Club for Kelly and Pete’s wedding!

This 2 tier was covered in a soft ivory top tier and a sage green bottom tier.
With faux flowers provided by the bride, palette knife leaves peaking out, little white birds, flowers and pearls!

Every cake is an honour to create whether it’s a baby shower, 21st or 50th.
But a 100th birthday! 🤩

Happiest of birthdays to John!

John loves his garden so I asked the lovely Laser Daisy Designs to create some bespoke charms including Johns favourite flowers, his greenhouse and a spade with a little robin sitting on top!
I added fresh flowers (some home grown) and hand painted butterflies and bees!

The top tier was white chocolate and raspberry and the bottom tier was lemon and blueberry!

I hope he loved it and had a fabulous party!

Happy 50th birthday to Gaz! As he’s a joiner I made a wood working themed cake!

I also added a nod to his love of football and weightlifting at the back of the cake!
I’m not a fan of trying to incorporate lots of different themes on 1 cake as I don’t think it always works. But where I can I’ll try and add it quietly 🤫

Dot cake is not a “new viral trend".

We’ve been slapping hundreds and thousands on cakes for decades, thank you very much.

It’s called nostalgia. It’s called birthday parties in village halls. It’s called your nan doing her best with a tub of sprinkles and zero regrets.
Not everything needs a rebrand, a hashtag, and a dramatic slow-mo reveal.

Sometimes it’s just cake. With dots. And it’s been good all along.

L & A got married on Saturday at the amazing Allington Manor in the glorious sunshine!
Even the view behind the cake was gorgeous!

They chose a modern linear design with olive green accents and dried pressed edible leaves.

The top tier was chocolate and the bottom tier sticky toffee!
Sticky toffee is a brilliant choice if you prefer a dessert to a traditional sponge!
