I’m thinking of making some of these beautiful cheese and cracked black pepper buttermilk scones tomorrow for the cake shed. Always best on the day of baking, so before I do I need to know if there is any interest. I may also be tempted to do some lemon and blueberry ones too. Let me know if this is of interest, otherwise I’m just gonna have to eat them all myself. There will only be 10 of each and will be a bargain at £3 each.

I cannot believe I never posted this cake before now. It was the last wedding cake that I made. Blood sweat, tears and lack of sleep went into this cake but it was worth it all. This is without a doubt my favourite cake of all time. But honestly, not in a hurry to do another like it!!! Oh and the venue!!! Stunningly decorated, completely on theme!!!

The Cake Hole will be open again tomorrow Sunday 9th March outside 16 Chichester close, Peel Common
On offer this week we have
-Nutella cake pops £2
-Nutella rice crispie treats £1.50
-Victoria sponge cake tin £2.50
-School cake £2.50
-Bueno Rocky Road £2.50
-Smartie egg Rocky Road £2.50
There is also Brownies and Blondies for just £1.00 which while past their best are still good. Especially warmed for 20-30 seconds in the microwave and with a serving of cream or Icecream!! Looks set to be a dry day again so why not treat yourself to something sweet to go with your afternoon tea.

As it’s shrove Tuesday I am currently making mini pancakes with chopped strawberries for the Cake Hole. You will also be able to choose a dips/sauce to go with your pancakes. Nutella,biscoff, chocolate syrup or golden syrup.
