Are you planning your wedding, or helping with someone else’s wedding? Do you need a wedding cake maker but not sure how to choose your cake flavours? Contact Suzie's Cakes & Bakes to order one of our luxury taster boxes, containing five different flavour samples.

If you would like a box, these can be pre-ordered now for an up front payment of £20 (plus £6 if you need P&P).

If you then subsequently book your wedding cake with me, the price of the taster box (not the P&P) will be deducted from the cost of your cake.

Using a party invitation for colour inspiration, I created this adorable circus themed cake for Betty-Lou and Elsie’s joint party. Because they didn’t need as many servings as a 3 tier cake would give, we decided that the bottom 10” cake would be big enough, so the overall effect was created using dummy 8” and 6” cakes, all decorated to match the theme (including fondant popcorn in edible boxes).

This has got to be my new favourite design.

After an extremely busy week last week, I took it a bit easier this week, with just one cake for Ronnie-Rae’s 2nd birthday. The two cars on top were toys which can be played with afterwards.
