That's all folks! A few weeks ago, we took this tiny film of the last grind at Golspie Mill under our management.

Since then we've been cleaning up and sorting out wee maintenance jobs. Thankyou to everyone who's helped with that - you know who you are - we really appreciate it.

Lovely to have a folk in for a dram last night to toast this lovely building and it's important role in the history of the village.

Hi Folks,

We have a few bits and pieces left before we close the doors at the end of ths week.

A couple of 25kg sacks of coarse ( pinhead ) oatmeal, a bit of organic rye flour and 4 or 5kg of peasemeal.

Also a few hundred flatpacked boxes , about shoebox size.

Fire a DM if you want more info on any of this stuff.

Well folks, it's been a blast! But after 21 years, it's time for something new.

The Mill business will cease trading at the end of this month. We're winding down our stocks just now and will continue to supply all our stockists until everything is used up.

We have met so many great and inspiring people through running this business - it's been an absolute pleasure.

Our thanks to Fergus and Ellie Morrison for passing on their business and subletting to us for all these years and to Sutherland Estates for letting us be part of the history of this wonderful building, which has so many important local connections.

Thanks also to all of our loyal and supportive customers, with a particular mention to our good friends, at Highland Wholefoods Workers Cooperative who've picked up orders from us every fortnight for the last 21 years.

And also thanks for the many many people who've helped us with mill repairs, outside catering, new products and packaging and all manner of other things over the years.

We're not going anywhere, so will still see folk around the place.

Onwards to Forestry and Land Scotland - time for the next career!
