It is with a bittersweet heart that I write this message.
Tomorrow, Thursday 7th May, will be my last day working at The Bridge Café. 🥺
Having started on 1st November 2019, it has been a real joy and privilege to lead the team here and serve you all over the years.
I’ve made so many friends through this place and genuinely loved every minute of it. ❤️
Even through two lockdowns and all the financial uncertainty of the past 6.5 years, God has been so faithful to us.
He has sustained, provided for, and blessed The Bridge in more ways than we could have imagined. It has been amazing to see God at work, and I know He will continue to bless this place for many more years to come.
It is with a heavy heart that I move on, because I truly love The Bridge and the people in it…
but I’m also excited for where God is leading me next.
I won’t be going far though — just moving upstairs initially to join the staff team at Glenrothes Baptist Church in the role of Church Plant Resident.
This is an exciting new season where I’ll be trained and equipped to go and plant a new church from GBC into another area of Glenrothes.
As a church, we’re really encouraged by the growth we’ve seen over the years, and our heart is to continue sharing the hope of the Gospel and being a witness for Jesus in our communities.
This is where I believe God is leading me, and I want to be faithful in following Him.
I’m sure you’ll still see me around often though.
After all, where else would I go for the best coffee in town? ☕️
And don’t worry….
all the best people are staying.🙌🥳
The Bridge was never built around one person.
It’s been shaped by an incredible team, amazing volunteers, faithful support from the church, and a community of people who have walked through the doors every single day.
Thank you for all the conversations, encouragement, prayers, laughter, and support over the years. ❤️
The Bridge is in good hands, and I’m excited to see all that God continues to do through it in the years ahead.
