Sometimes, we simply create something and our heart says, yes… this one.
This is one of those cakes for us.
There’s something about creating with your hands that makes you pause and admire what you’ve made.
Sometimes, we look at a finished cake and feel proud. We notice every detail, every little imperfection, every decision that came together to create something beautiful, and we think, this is cute! We made this!
And then we think about God.
If we, as creatives, can feel this much joy and pride over something we have created, how much more must God delight in His creation? The One who created the skies, the oceans, the flowers, the human heart, and every tiny detail of this world.
This cake gave me that feeling.
We absolutely love how it came together — the softness, the colour contrast, the delicate details and the gold accents. But beyond the cake itself, it reminded us of the privilege of creating something beautiful and special for our clients.
We made this with so much love for a very special mum, commissioned by her loving son.
And honestly, we’re just so proud of this one.
