Here at cakes n crafts we create bespoke wedding cakes and teach our sugarflowers online and in person. we also have a range of sugarflower cutters and cake aids

Our style is clean, sharp and full of flowers. we can create a cake that is tailored to your needs and ideas and offer a personalised service

Sugar flowers but keep it on trend 👌🏻

When planning new designs I don’t look at cakes for inspiration, I follow florists 🤣

Lately I am seeing so many Amaranthus in bouquets, calla lily’s and anthuriums.

Why not just use real flowers?
So many real flowers are actually toxic and shouldn’t be put into any food product that is going to be eaten.
So we create all of our flowers in sugar using flower paste icing so not only are they completely safe to use, they last forever and can be made when the flowers are out of season and in any colour!

When designing our cakes we use your decor and bouquet inspirations so everything is all matching 💐

At this stage of your planning it’s all about choosing WHO you want, not WHAT you want just yet. We don’t need any design ideas or even the size.

We design all our cakes from scratch and sketch our designs with you around 4 months before at our premises in Queenslie by Glasgow Fort. This way you can see exactly what your cake will look like on the day!

The Gailes Hotel & Spa

Kelly fell in love with our Rose & Gyp wedding cake and just had to have it! They went for 4 tiers featuring a cascade of sugar roses and gypsophila from top to bottom. The cake had lace detailing with sugar appliqué and a touch of pearls.

We didn’t manage to get a good venue shot this time as the cake was being moved at turnaround.

We hope you both had an amazing day!
