PLEASE READ 💜

You may have noticed I've not been about for the last few months, and I can tell you now the reason for this is that I have been slowing down the business as I am moving to Orkney at the end of May.

This means that Pure Cakes as we know it now will be closing it's doors. I hope in the future I'll be able to pick up my apron and start back up again, but for now I need some time to settle into my new island life. I hope I'll be able to continue Pure Cakes on a more local bases in the future, as well as still offering postage - but time will tell on that one.

It's so bittersweet to be writing this. On one hand, I'm leaving Glasgow for a better lifestyle, but on the other hand it's incredibly sad for me to close the doors on what has been an amazing chapter of my life. Baking will ALWAYS be a massive part of my life, but I will miss working with you all and being part of ypur special celebrations.

And on that note, I would like to say the biggest THANK YOU in the world from the bottom of my heart for your support over the last couple of years. Pure Cakes has given me such joy and fulfillment, at times when I really really needed it, and I couldn't have done it without you.

Don't worry - those of you who have already ordered, your order will be fulfilled and I'll follow up with you to confirm this.

So, for now, thank you thank you thank you and hopefully see you soon 💜

🎶 After all there's only one more sleep 'til Christmas 🎶

A big massive THANK YOU to you all for supporting Pure Cakes this year - I've focused on a lot of weddings, made some really fun custom sets and finished the year with some very festive treats - and I couldn't have done it without you!

So, for me it's feet up tonight with The Muppets Christmas Carol (if you're not watching it on Christmas Eve what are you up to?), hot chocolate and relaxing with my husband - a rare treat!

Books are open for 2023, I'll be taking some time off and I'll be back Jan 2nd and will be available for a chat then!

Thanks again to you all, and no matter how you are spending tomorrow I wish you a wonderful and peaceful day.

Christmas books closed!

Thank you all for your lovely orders this year! I really appreciate it, especially when I know it has been a tough year for so many.

I have some room for postal orders leaving on the 16th - this is the last guaranteed date from Royal Mail. Orders going in the post will be closed tomorrow!

Did you know all biscuit packaging is plastic free?

Over here at Pure Cakes HQ, looking after the planet is a big priority, and so all packaging has been carefully selected to make sure we aren't hurting the planet!

Each biccie is individually wrapped in cellulose - this is like plastic cellophane but completely plant based and biodegradable. Just pop your wrappers in with your food waste, and enjoy your cookie and help the planet!

The time has come, and I've definitely kept you in suspense this year, for Christmas 2022 cookie launch!

Whether your looking to elevate your Christmas tablescape, put a smile on your loved one's faces or up your Christmas Eve game, these little beauties are a guaranteed winner!

Here's all you need to know about Christmas 2022 Cookie Box:

* 9 festive cookies (designs as in picture) - unfortunately I will not be able to accommodate custom requests
* Choose which flavour you'd like (one flavour per box) - vanilla, lemon or all spice
* Posting Dates - 12th December and 16th December (if you need an earlier date please do get in touch). Due to Royal Mail proposed strike dates this will be latest I will post, but please remember these cookies do have a 4 week shelf life, so plenty of time to enjoy them with family!
* £30 incl postage via Royal Mail 1st Class (if you would like to collect, please let me know)
* Available to pre-order now!

This week I went as a lady who passed their driving test, got a car and and was unleashed in to the world... Oh wait... it might be spooky but it is reality!

Hello... Are you still out there?

Been a little quiet recently due to life being so so busy that biscuits have had to take a back seat. Back from a holiday in Athens and this week I did an intensive driving course (gulp).

Now that life is a tiny bit calmer, here I am! Lots of exciting things coming up - don't forget about the Edinburgh Wedding Directory showcase on the 30th, and I've been planning some festive fancies too...
