🌟 Why don't you wear gloves when selling cakes?

Because we use tongs. And the only thing the tongs touch is the cakes. And only the cakes in the same tub to avoid cross contamination.

If we served with gloves they'd touch the trays, the tablecloth, the stall, our phones, our till, our payment machine, your money, ourselves, each other AND your cakes. Gloves would only work if you changed them any time you touched literally anything.

So if you see a baker wandering about a market with their gloves still on...... Yeah 😳

🌟 Which of you is coeliac?

Neither. In fact, neither of us has any food issues at all, except I have a wee touch of lactose intolerance. We do this because everyone deserves the same choice as us.

As much as it sucked having yesterday's all called off, it was nice easing back in to just one market after our break.

Next week is more like it though, with four different markets to choose from.

Due to the high winds on Saturday,

The Gourock Farmers Market has been called off.

Helensburgh Market in the Square will probably be called off too, just waiting on the email.

The weather on Sunday looks fine so

What have I been up to?

Not much, and it was bloody lovely.

🌟 Ate, slept, cuddled the wife, and didn't bake a goddamn thing 😁

🌟 Went to Ardnamurchan for lunch. Big flavour, teeny tiny portions. I wasnt expecting to be stuffed, but for £120 I wasn't expecting to leave bloody hungry either! 😐

🌟 Saw Dear Evan Hansen at The King's. Catchy songs, but the acting was.... ooft. And a bit tone deaf with some of the issues it covered. But based on the standing ovation at the end, I guess I'm just a grumpy old sh*te 💩 ( Plus, I'm 43, fat, with bad knees. If I stand up at a show it's cos I've got bloody cramp 😬 )

🌟 Spent two days digging screws out of doors because some bellends had painted over the hinges about forty times. But as said bellends include multiple members of Bonnie's family, including the good lady herself, I probably shouldn't complain about it in public. Oops 🤣
