Hi everyone
I’ve been really quiet over the last couple of weeks so I’ll start with an apology as I know quite a few of you have been messaging me trying to order and I’ve strugggeld to get back to you all ... I’ve had a lot on my plate at the moment - I’m sorry!
As most of you know, I do this along side a full time job and I’ve just taken on a new role this year which I’m excited about, but is taking up a lot of my mental space at the moment where I’m still learning to get to grips with the role.
I am also coming to the end of an apprenticeship that I have been working through for the past year and this is taking up a lot of my weekend time with study and report writing as I’m not able to earmark time in the week at the moment to focus on this.
I’ve therefore I’ve taken a really difficult decision to pause my cookie business for now so I can fully focus on getting to grips with my new role and finishing my apprenticeship.
I’m quite a driven (some might say stubborn🤣) person and thought I could juggle all three but working at home, learning new skills and being in lockdown has taken it’s toll and i’ve realised I need to drop something to quite frankly cope with the amount for change I’m facing at the moment and give myself the space and time to switch off and rest of a weekend to prevent burn out.
This is not a definite pause but a “rest” to help me get back on track, rested and able to focus back on my cookies when I feel ready.
Those of you that have advanced bookings with me, I will still honour these for you and complete these bookings, so please don’t worry 😊 Could I ask you all to contact me with any photos you might need if they are photos cookie orders so I can order them in ready.
I hope you all understand and I wanted to thank you all so much for your support so far it is really appreciated and has blown me away! I didn’t expect the business to grow this quickly and it’s been amazing to see the response and that’s all because of you.
So this is a bye and thank you for now and I will let you know when I’m back and ready to bake up a storm again 💪🏻
