Celebrating Black History Month - a cultural morning thanks to Daniel and others. Looking at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust who look after orphaned elephants. A discussion about public transport and how colourful their buses are,; the more colourful the better the bus. So much to learn about different cultures - such an interesting and enjoyable morning for residents and staff.

A musical afternoon with all the instruments. A singalong to favourite tunes of ours. Happy faces with lots of interaction. Great for cognitive skills.

Where do they get all that energy from?! 😄 The competitiveness, determination and stamina on display was fantastic! 💪🔥 Just look at them go! The enthusiasm and team spirit are wonderful to see.

A truly memorable day for a very special lady!

Surrounded by wonderful friends and enjoying a very special day together, it was one to remember. 💕 A huge thank you to Ann Marie for organising such a fantastic day out at Savill Gardens.

Perfect weather, fabulous company, lots of smiles and wonderful memories made. ☀️🥰

At Swarthmore Care Home, there really are no limits to what we will do to make every day special and create moments that will be cherished. ❤️

A morning of learning all about Braille. ⠃⠗⠁⠊⠇⠇⠑

A very interesting and informative session this morning, learning about t Braille, how it works, and the importance of accessible communication. 💙

It was fascinating to gain a better understanding of how Braille helps people read, learn and communicate every day.

We’re replacing our lounge chairs, but the current chairs still have plenty of life left in them, so rather than see them go to waste, we’d love to donate them to anyone who can put them to good use.

They are free of charge to anyone who can give them a new home and make good use of them. They will need to be collected on Wednesday 7th or Thursday 8th October between working hours.
We’d much rather see them enjoyed by someone who needs them than have them go to waste. ❤️ We have at least 11 beige chairs and 9 blue.
