I had a bakery 🧁 and I’m here to tell you that the grass isn’t always greener 😆
I know so many of us bakers dream of having our own space and it’s good to have a dream and an ambition but it is such hard work in this current climate.

My business was too much work for me but not enough to hire staff and hiring staff comes with a lot of problems too so I was scared to do that! I was so overworked, missing out on so much with friends and family.

I am now back home and business is still doing well but trying to scale down to fit my home kitchen is a challenge 🤣

It is always better to have given something a go instead of thinking ‘what if’ all my life so I don’t regret it but it’s certainly been a rollercoaster ride and there is so much more to this story than just a 90 second video.
Happy to report that I’m doing good and feeling better each day. I’ve had an amazing summer with my family doing loads of nice things together which hasn’t happened for years.
I’m excited for the future and hoping to have my own space again but this time attached to our house 😆🌸💞

Beautiful Blues 🪻🩵🤍🌿 for Mr & Mrs Hammond who were married yesterday August 29th 2026 at the gorgeous in Bruton 🤍
They went for my wedding package which sadly I no longer offer but I hope to some time in the future!
