Cake competitions push you to challenge yourself, learn new skills and step outside your comfort zone, and receiving a silver award for this creation was such a proud moment. 🥹❤️
I can’t wait to show you what I’m working on this year!!!!
It’s amazing to see how your skills have also levelled up without even realising it!

This little leopard peeking out from its rugged, woodland-inspired log was created for Cake International 2024, where it was awarded SILVER! 🥈

I loved creating the contrast between the beautiful leopard and the broken tree surrounding it. So much detail, patience and love went into bringing this piece together!

Still so proud of this little one! 🐆✨

I was awarded Sliver for my water melon. 🍉
I didn’t go last year but I’ll be back this year, all be it last minute and entering on the final cut off day!!!!! Ops!!!! Nothing like last minute pressure!!!!

Now to decided what to make this year?!? Ahhhhhh!!!!

150 personalised handmade shortbread biscuits! Delicious!!!

Each one mixed, rolled, cut, icing rolled & cut, stamped, bagged and labelled. To be crisp, clean and uniform 150 times over.
No robots here… Just little old me on repeat until the process is perfectly complete by hand.

Does anyone else wish they had a Time Machine to just pop back and watch them blow out the candles again at that age!!! 🎂

I’d love to do a redo on this design and see how’s much my skills have improved since then! 🩵

Since I began nearly 10 years ago I have used the same brands and products and they have never failed me! 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼
