The Quay Bakery We are an established independent bakery in Cornwall. Handmade artisan breads, cakes pastries baked fresh every day in Fowey.

We are a small independent artisan bakery. Producing breads, cakes, biscuits and pastries. Everything we sell is made from scratch and baked on site. We also sell a small range of traditional bread making and baking equipment, and ingredients. Quay Bakery was born after a walk back from the local pub one afternoon took us past a 'to let' sign at 6 Webb Street. Six frantic months of planning, fundr

aising and cash flow forecasts later, the bakery opened its doors on 21st July 2012. After trading there for three and a half years, we were bursting at the seams and needed room to expand. We moved into the old Fowey Fish shop on Fore Street in October 2015 and have been busy baking ever since.

We are very disappointed to announce that owing to staff members having to isolate for 10 days, we have had to temporarily close our doors.

We are so sorry to our loyal and new customers to have to take this action and are truly gutted about having to close in peak season.

But we have no choice.

We will reopen on Tuesday 10 August and look forward to seeing you all then.

From Saturday 4/7 we are open 6 days a week again. We will be closed on Mondays.

We are delighted to announce our new opening hours.

From this weekend (Saturday 4th) we will be open every day of the week except Mondays, early till 5pm.

One person at a time in the shop - plus our window has been transformed into a serving hatch to make it quicker and easier for our customers (you won't need to enter at all).

We've missed our customers and look forward to welcoming people back. It's been wonderful seeing Fowey come slowly back to life!
