More than just a baker...

Attending markets & all of the organisation & admin that goes in before hand takes a lot of time! But it's all worth it, meeting & greeting our lovely customers at the market, is one of our favourite things to do!

Delivering to all of our lovely local wholesalers, when do you know it's time to get a van?! 🤪 Car is fit to bursting some days! 🤣🙌🏼

Admin jobs are never-ending!

Kev does his best to help! 😅

Creating, printing & cutting labels is a time consuming task. Along with checking, updating & creating ingredient lists, a very important job but not my favourite thing to do!

This one on the other hand is one of the best parts! 🤣 Trial & error of new recipes is fun, plus we get to taste test them!

Stamping & making up all of the boxes for the markets.

Communicating & working with our wholesalers to create new bakes that suit their needs & premises.

Unwrapping chocolate bars takes up so much time...Kinder Buenos are the worst, so much packaging!

Profit, loss, tax returns, balance sheets etc etc! "Everything's been Reconciled" - the best feeling, if you know, you know! 😅

Packing the car, this has been a learning curve too, add in the gazebo too & all chaos ensues! 😅

So much washing up! Day to day from baking - pans, mixers, utensils, cleaning. Plus markets/wholesaler orders where every box/tub needs washing. Shout out to the wholesalers who return their boxes clean! 🙌🏼

Stamping every bag required for markets.

Assembling boxes for our day to day deliveries, postal orders & direct orders.

Cutting up hundreds of bakes by hand per day! 💪🏻

So many deliveries fill our home! All of them need to be unpacked, stored away & then this usually results in a trip to the recycling centre with all of the cardboard.

Social Media content - hours of work behind the scenes for seconds on the screen. 😅
The best part - the interaction between us & our customers! We enjoy seeing your feedback & reviews too!

Finally... imposter syndrome is real! 🤣 Being self-employed isn't for the faint hearted! 💪🏻 Shout out to you all, working your butts off to create a business you love! 💛 Go us! 🙌🏼

🤎 Tiramisu 🤍

Fancy a weekend treat? Go on you deserve it! 

This has been our best seller since we started selling it back in June. So we've decided to do a Friday delivery of just Tiramisu! The perfect weekend indulgence. Delivered to your door or work place, ready to eat!

🤎Tub of Tiramisu - our usual recipe found in jar form but in a tub instead, slightly bigger portion than usual, will serve two or one, very hungry Oh Crumbs fan, but we won't judge if you don't want to share! £10 per tub, which includes local delivery in Fort William 🤍

Limited number of tubs available, DM to order, get your orders in by Friday at 9am. Your order is not confirmed until we reply to your message, thank you. 😊

📦Delivery will be Friday 28th August between 1-3pm. You must be in to receive the goods as this treat needs to be stored in the fridge! ❄️

Go on, it's not everyday you can get your hands on "the best tiramisu in town!" as quoted by a regular customer, we will let you be the judge of that! 😜💛

🍫Bitesize Bake Boxes🍪

Had the pleasure of creating these bespoke Bitesize Bake Boxes this week.

The request was for 4 of our sharing Bitesize Bake boxes, ready to eat & enjoy!

So we boxed them into 2 larger boxes lined with our customised greaseproof paper, ready to eat. All the customer had to do, was open the lid & enjoy! 🙌🏼

I'm glad to say, the feedback from this event was great. Everyone enjoyed the bakes, on a very special day, remembering a special someone who had a soft spot for sweet treats. 💛 Thank you for letting me & my business be apart of your day.

We don't advertise larger platters/sharing boxes but if you have an event in mind, feel free to get in touch & we will do our best to come up with something that suits you!

Thank you so much to everyone who came along & supported us at the Glen Nevis restaurant & bar market yesterday!

The market was scaled down last minute & moved outside (for reasons out with the restaurant's control) however, this made me very nervous that not many customers would attend...

Turns out I didn't need to worry! It's quite overwhelming seeing how many people love the bakes you make. I can't believe I doubted you! 😅🤣 We had a fantastic day & we were very close to a sell out. The last few bakes were sold on our socials & donated to the Belford Hospital staff.

Thank you to each & everyone of you who constantly support our wee business, for making the effort to come out in the drizzle ☔& queue for our bakes & for introducing new customers to us too. It means the world! 💛

Come along & support us this Sunday at the Glen Nevis Restaurant. We will be outside under our gazebo (hoping it's midgy free!). It's a small market but that doesn't mean we haven't gone BIG on the menu front! We will have plenty of returning specials, including the bakes that you have requested! Such as Rhubarb & Custard Blondies, Biscuit Tin Blondies & it looks like the hubby won the 'Turkish Delight' battle as so many of you asked for the brownies to return, so now is your chance to grab them! 🤣

We also have some new bakes too. I know you love a Tiramisu. Now, we've done the brownie version, the jars (they won't be at this market but will make a return next month)... but now I bring to you the Tiramisu inspired Cookie Sandwich! Yes you read that right. Keep your eyes peeled, all will be revealed tomorrow! 👀

Lastly, believe it or not I've never had a Wispa Gold until this week...my sister has requested since I've opened, for me to do bakes with them, so here it is! The Wispa Gold Brownie.
