McLaren Bakers McLaren Bakers is a family run business with bakeries in Forfar and Kirriemuir and a long tradition

Established in 1893 and based in the Angus Towns of Forfar and Kirriemuir, James McLaren and Son combine a long tradition in baking the famous ‘Forfar Bridie’ with a wide range of breads, Danish, Teabread, Biscuits and, of course, Celebration Cakes. Popular with locals and visitors alike, expect delays at the Market Street premises on a Saturday, as you compete with visiting football supporters, anxious to satisfy their hunger with a local delicacy before ‘the Game’!

We are closed from Monday 27th July to Monday 10th August for our summer break. Definitely looking forward to enjoying the heat rather than working in it!😂

Our wonderful friends over IvyRoad Photography Studio are showcasing the local businesses in town - Focus on Forfar.
Pam and Jude are lovey ladies and true pro's (they have captured my wedding, kids 1st birthdays and many more) so if you've got a wedding coming up of just want to update the family photo's give them a shout! There little studio is on West High St and is super welcoming and friendly.
