Sorry for the lack of posting recently but here you go! Enjoy the photos of some of the cakes I’ve done for you lovely lot.

💜Some exciting news- Taste of Idvies will have a stall at the Letham playgroup fundraiser at the scout hut on September 12th so it would be lovely to see everyone down there to show your support for both me and the playgroup💜

Some sad news unfortunately💔 as I will be leaving for university on September 18th I will sadly have to temporarily close Taste of Idvies.

But don’t worry! I will be back in business for the festive season and taking orders from December 17th onwards so feel free to message me to book in for your Christmas orders!

For those of you that do have orders in place between September 18th- December 17th do not fear your cakes will still be made!
I am just not taking any further orders.

Thank you all for the wonderful support you have given me for the last year and a half with my business venture and I look forward to seeing you all on Sunday!

Hi there lovely’s

Just wanted to put out a little thing to reiterate how important it is to book your cakes in advance. I’ve had quite a few recently of people trying book either the day before/day that they actually need the cake for and being very displeased that I cannot fit them in on that timescale.

Whilst I am generally happy to take short notice bookings I am also very busy and don’t always have time to take cake orders on the day they are needed for.

Please to anyone booking a cake- please try to book as far in advance as you can ❤️

Thank you so much for all the support along the way and to each and every single one of my lovely customers for your orders and especially those of you with returning orders.

After a much needed break to get everything sorted out I can happily announce that Taste of Idvies is back in action for the summer!

Take a look at some of of the orders completed that have not yet been posted.

These include a lovely baby shower cake

Gluten free chocolate cake and cupcakes

A second hedgehog cake (this has been a highly requested cake) 🦔

Rangers themed cupcakes

Another chocolate explosion cake

And a different cake but definitely a favourite, an 18th birthday cake with the customers face printed on the top. The request was “can you please make it look like I’m beating Rodger Federrer at tennis”

Sorry for the lack of posts this week just been so busy!!
Here’s some of your lovely orders over the last 2 weeks 😊

We have a lovely box of gluten free vanilla muffins with chocolate icing. 💕(Don’t forget, taste of idvies will happily cater to allergies and dietary requirements just let me know)💕

This time we have a lovely hedgehog themed
Victoria sponge cake (very cute)

A lovely tanquery gin themed cake with the matching cupcakes

We’ve got another golf cake 🙂 this design has become quite popular with customers!

We have one with a big bow to match a little girls beautiful party dress

And of course lots of cupcakes, meringues and DIY biscuits!!

Note- i will be closing my books from may 27th-30th to take a much needed break before getting started on all your orders for June. I will still be available to message so let me know for any enquiries or orders in the meantime 😊

Some great bakes this week!

I loved making these two birthday cakes, great choices of colour and both Victoria sponge with raspberry jam and buttercream (the most popular flavour at the minute it seems😊)

A little different this week with some strawberry meringues

And thought I’d add some of my own bakes this week too as who doesn’t need cake for themselves sometimes!! So here’s my marble loaf cake and my chocolate tiffin (both of which are on my menu so feel free to order some for yourself too❤️)

Busy busy this week!

Had some cracking birthday cake ideas! As you can see we have had a sloth cake🦥very cute!
A classic chocolate drip cake 🍰

And for something a little different, a half and half Parma violets gin drip cake one side with a tartan rod steward theme on the other side!

I’ve just loved the creative ideas that you guys are giving me for your cakes✨

This week we have also had a mix of meringues of course.

Some daim flavoured brownies and some Terry’s chocolate orange flavoured brownies (which were posted down to England) so for postal enquiries make sure to drop me a message❤️

Not been too busy this week but has been lovely to get a little break in!

This weeks bakes!

Some lovey birthday cakes including 2 drip cakes a breakfast at Tiffany’s theme and an AC/DC cake ✨
So happy to say that I’ve had one cake commented on by glenfiddich gin distillery and another liked by mermaid gin 😊
Been a busy week with baking and as always a week full of meringues!
Some lovely Parma violet macarons also!
April is nearly booked up now so there is limited availability to order so make sure to get in there!
As a small side note however, I’d like to take the chance to kindly ask that customers check the pricing before making substantial orders and then being unhappy with the price as this has happened a few times this week. Thanks.

I’ve had an unbelievable amount of orders come through so thanks so much for that🥰

I won’t be baking from April 9th-12th unfortunately but I’ll be back after that ready to make all your lovely bakes
