Countdown to the Big Switch On!

****We will be collecting Foodbank donations at the Town Hall****

Fordingbridge is buzzing with excitement as we get ready for our annual night of festive fun and community spirit!

This year, you’ll find a wonderful variety of stalls in the Town Hall, the Salvation Army and throughout the town with a range of independent traders— along the High Street and at Roundhill. We’re thrilled to have our local businesses open, so please visit their stores and get that Christmas shopping started.

At Roundhill, there’s something for everyone — Santa’s Grotto, reindeer and miniature donkeys, fairground rides, doughnuts and drinks, sweets, glitter tattoos, and much more. Keep an eye out for a very tall Mrs Claus and her mischievous elf!

The evening’s entertainment begins at 5:30pm with a performance from the Fordingbridge Musical Theatre Choir, leading up to the Big Switch On at 6:00pm but not before the magical Lantern Parade light up the High Street with their stunning creations.

At 6:15pm, enjoy a set from Burgate School’s Sixth Form Rock Band, followed by the Vintage Sweethearts at 6:30pm, performing classic Christmas tunes and festive favourites. To close the evening, the Fordingbridge Dance School will take to the stage at 7:30pm for a dazzling finale.

We hope you’ll join us for this special community celebration and help make it another memorable evening for Fordingbridge!

And don't forget it's free parking all day!

We’ll be collecting food donations for the local Foodbank at the Town Hall, as well as monetary donations for the Mayor’s chosen charity, STARF.
