As the summer holidays come to an end, I am catching up with enquiries.

As you know, I don’t usually take on much work during the school holidays. However, I did agree to make the semi-naked cakes for this customer’s wedding, which they will then stack and decorate themselves with fresh fruit.

I made a 12” diameter Victoria sponge, 9” lemon cake filled with buttercream and homemade lemon curd, a 6” raspberry and coconut sponge filled with coconut infused buttercream and homemade mango curd and a small lemon sponge which contains gluten free and dairy free ingredients for some of their guests.

A three-tiered wedding cake I made much earlier this summer but have only recently received photos of the finished product. The customer, Sandra made her own sugar flowers and stacked the cake herself. Doesn’t it look beautiful! Those flowers look incredible!

Not cake-related at all but a complete fluke of a photograph. I was pointing the camera at the sun and wasn’t really able to see what I was taking a photo of and ended up with this beautiful photo. It’s been a noisy an exciting couple of weeks here in Fleet and Farnborough.

As we admire these incredible aircraft, it’s worth remembering they were designed and built by brilliant engineers, mathematicians, scientists and innovators that were once children.

Behind every engineer, scientist and innovator was once a teacher who inspired them and helped them to grow.

A heartfelt thank you to every teacher, from preschool to university. You inspire the minds that go on to shape our future.

Have a well-deserved summer break and thank you for your dedication and hard work.

Well done parents too and enjoy six weeks of endless snacking and keeping them entertained. 😉

I haven’t quite finished yet before having some time off with my family but I will still be taking messages with quotes to potential customers.

Spaces available to book your cake are now from October onwards but some weeks are already full.
