Honestly... what a few weeks it's been 😅

I keep sitting down to write this post and getting distracted by another cake, another delivery, another opportunity, or another thing that needs done!

Firstly, thank you. Genuinely. The support for Betsy's Cakes has been absolutely incredible lately. Between celebration cakes, weddings, wholesale deliveries, and some exciting new opportunities that have come our way, we've been busier than I ever imagined possible.

And whilst being this busy is something I will never complain about, I will admit that one thing has suffered a little... my admin 🙈

Messages, invoices, quotes, reminders, replying to people when I said I would... I've been a bit behind. Not because I don't care, but simply because I've been spending every spare second baking and trying to keep up with the workload.

The good news is I've finally got a bit of a plan (well... an ish-plan 😅) and today is dedicated to getting myself organised again and working through everything that has piled up.

If you've been waiting on a reply, an invoice, a quote, or just wondering if I've forgotten about you, I promise I haven't! I'll be working through everything and getting back in touch with everyone as quickly as possible.

I'm honestly just so grateful that this little business is busy enough to create these problems in the first place. It's a position I never take for granted, and it's only possible because of all of you.

Thank you for your patience, your support, your orders, your recommendations, and for keeping me ridiculously busy doing something I genuinely love ❤️

Now... wish me luck while I tackle the admin mountain 😅☕📱

Edit!- now 9.4qpm and i haven't circled back to admin its been a busy day and we ended up at out of hours with jayson which took a few more hours than I expected 🥲
Currently baking loads again and will hopefully be finished up by midnight and then once everything is delivered in the morning i can spend some time going over everything and everyone ive missed! Thank you ❤️

BETSY’S CAKES IS 6 YEARS OLD!!! 🎂🥹

6 years?! What the actual hell?! We genuinely cannot believe it 😅

6 years of birthday cakes, wedding cakes, “just because” cakes and every other bakes and celebrations in between.

Every single year you all continue to support us in ways we could never have imagined. The amount of love, orders, messages and recommendations we get thrown our way is honestly incredible.

Don’t get us wrong — it’s not always been easy. Mistakes have been made, lessons have been learned, and there have definitely been moments of stress and chaos 😅 but my god… what a ride it’s been. We honestly can’t even put into words how amazing this journey has been for our family.

The opportunities we’ve had over the years have been unbelievable, and watching this little business continue to grow year after year is something we’ll never take for granted.

Over the last 6 years we’ve met so many incredible people. So many customers have become friends, and honestly feel like part of our extended family now — and that in itself is just amazing.

We are beyond grateful that we get to be part of so many of your celebrations and special moments in life. Watching your kids (and the grown-ups too 😅) grow up through birthday cakes every year is genuinely one of the most special parts of this job, and something we’ll cherish forever.

Thank you for everything. Thank you for supporting our little business and for giving our family the most chaotically perfect life we could ever have dreamed of 🫶
