After being diagnosed as a Coeliac, which means I am unable to eat anything containing wheat or gluten as well as being intolerant to dairy, I struggled to find any shop bought cakes and biscuits that not only could I eat but that actually tasted nice. To combat this I bought books and recipes and started baking my own and trying them out on myself, friends and family. Once I found recipes that wo

rked and that were popular with friends and family I decided to start visiting local craft and toy fairs and selling my cakes to the visitors. After getting rave reviews and orders from both fellow coeliacs and non-coeliacs alike (who commented that they couldn't tell the difference), I decided to set up my own business baking cupcakes and cakes to order. I am registered with the Local Authority Environmental Health
