Family owned bakehouse, coffee and takeaway outlet based in Faversham Kent. A selected range can be found Tuesday to Friday and the full range on Saturdays.

Kitchen is family owned business baking on the premises in Faversham since 1998. We bake a range of speciality breads including, Bavarian Rye, Spelt, Corn loaves, Sussex Oatie and French country white. We have also developed a range of Sourdough loaves these include, House white, Rye, Oatie, Chia seed. We also have an extensive range of homemade cakes including our famous cheesecakes. We

have now expanded into selling freshly ground coffee using the finest Arabica beans to takeaway, as well as several highest quality specialist teas and hot chocolates. You can also find a large selection of cold filled rolls and sandwiches, pies and pastries. As well as straight from the grill hot bacon, sausage and egg ciabattas or Kentish huffkins.

Pinch, punch, first day of the month!

So much to celebrate today.

First up the one who made us parents, Sophia, turns 20!! 🎂
Happy birthday darling, hope you love the picture

Secondly, it’s the start of the ‘ber’ months, and our favourite time of year! 🍂

Thirdly, it’s the week that the children return to school and I get my routine back 🕣

And finally the big celebration at the end of the week that is Hop Festival! 🎉

So why don’t you come, get a treat and start this week of celebration as you mean to go on!

Happy bank holiday weekend!

We have some delicious specials on the shelves this morning.

First up are Irish Batches, crusty on the outside and soft in the middle, we consider them the king of loaves.

Next up we have mature cheddar and spring onion loaves. Fresh spring onions and chunks of oozy cheddar, one of our most popular loaves.

And finally sun-dried tomatoes and black olive, a real taste of the Mediterranean.

And if none of those take your fancy we have all our usual loaves and sourdoughs on the shelves.

Open 8am-midday.

Bank holiday weekend means Irish Batch!!

This weekend we will have batches available.

And in a break from our usual ways you can message the page to order for Saturday (please just ignore the message that bounces back). I will reply so you know your order has been received.

We will also have:
- Sun-dried tomato and olive loaves
- Mature cheddar and spring onion loaves

Fingers crossed there will be good weather for the long weekend.

Hello everyone. As we’ve not done this in a while, we thought we’d reintroduce ourselves. I know most of you know us but for those that are new to Oscar’s this is us.

We are Steph and Chris and we own Oscar’s Bakery. Chris is your baker, he gets up at 2.30am every day to bake all the delicious loaves and cakes, right in the heart of Faversham. I am Steph and I serve you in the shop and when I’m not doing that I too make cakes.

We have been married for 21 years and have five beautiful children and 2 fur babies. I grew up in the Hythe area and worked at Port Lympne wild animal park when I was a teenager. Chris grew up in Gravesend and has always worked in family bakeries. We met when we were studying A-levels in Canterbury and went on to study business together at university of Kent. I then joined his family bakery and the rest, as they say, is history.

We love living and working in Faversham, and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Faversham is home.

We hope you enjoy what we do here in the bakery, we certainly love meeting you and having chats (I tend to do a lot of chatting 🤣).
