Hello everyone! Back in May Flamingo Paperie very sadly announced they were closing their doors for a final time. I opened my business in 2006 and have loved every minute. I felt honoured to be associated with such a fantastic company and have made some fabulous friends along the way, both through fellow partners and customers. The support through the sales I made contributed towards so much for my boys and for that I'm truly grateful. I'd like to say a special thank you to the directors for continuing with such grace and especially to their support to me personally when life got tough. Thanks also go to my fellow partners who became friends. Some of you are continuing with your business and I wish you all the luck!
For me this seems like a natural time to close my business. It has been such a huge part of my life for the past 17 years but my life looks very different now. I'd already been running it differently to fit in around my other jobs but, like many, I'm time short. I am still doing baskets of stock in a bag for people to borrow but I am also considering doing an open house as a final thank you. As always, there would be tea, cake, fizz and laughter! I have Christmas and every day stock so would be a real mix of both. Fancy that?
