So It’s the Easter Holidays and that means Birthday Cake! For a couple of years now, I have made a Birthday Cake for Elliott. First Sonic the Hedgehog, last year it was Minecraft and this year is Fortnite…
All handmade and edible, not an edible printer in sight! Small cake is a classic Victoria sponge covered in white chocolate ganache & fondant icing. All the cupcakes are chocolate with chocolate buttercream with the icing toppers 😋

So, I have lost my cake passion of late.. but no matter how exhausted, how stressed or down I am feeling, the show must go on for the Youngest’s birthday cake..
This year was the year of the karaoke 🎤 party and so came a vinyl cake, pretty hard to do in this heat but it’s a Kinder Bueno flavour cake, so Chocolate sponge, with a Hazelnut crème and Hazelnut Buttercream filling encased in a milk chocolate ganache and fondant icing. Showing my age as I have no idea what the song was.. sorry 😬
