Delivery and transportation
We offer to deliver any cake,sometimes free of charge.When cakes are collected ,we whoever take no responsibility for any damages after collection. Delivery option is always advisable.You should always have your cake flat in your car,most definitely not on your lap or seats.We deliver all tiered cakes in separate boxes and assemble at
your venue. Weddings
Please refer to payments schedule and amount on each offer.For customised cakes, deposit of 50% of the total cake cost, is required.Sometimes full cost on offer cakes to cover cost if cancelled,details will be written on the offer you booked. Full payments on offer wedding cakes does not represent the actual cost of a wedding cake ( it represent your offer price). It is the cost of cancellation for that same cake if paid on full price. This is mainly to hold the delivery/pick-up date,admin fees, tax fees,time spend processing your order, messages and any work we have to do prior your order is delivered etc
;consider this an order and contract for services to be rendered on your behalf. The remaining balance ( if booked via deposit/booking fee)is due on the date agreed or as per offer or price.If order is cancelled, your booking deposit is non-refundable, plus any and all expenses already incurred towards that order. If WE have to cancel your order (due to an illness or in case of serious accident only),we will always try and source another baker for you at no extra cost to you,or offer full refund.There might be a situation, when we are on the way to set up your cake,and accident or police road closure might happens, while we are on the road we will contact your venue immediately. We always allocate at least 2 hours for your cake to be delivered,if we are stopped ,by unforeseen circumstances ,we will let your venue know, unfortunately your cake might be delivered later than planned,please understand that this happens very rarely,and it is out of our control. NOTE THAT CAKES BOOKED UNDER OFFER, will be NON refundable due to the lower cost ( the cost is the cancellation cost if paid in full price otherwise),you can whoever not redeem your payment (not your booking/deposit)non exchanges ,no transfers to someone, we might offer one occasion cake order, if the date is available, we will supply one standard size 10 inch cake (birthday etc). Example: You booked £300 on offer large 3 tier cake. If cancelled you will loose £300 as actual full price of that cake is £600 and £300 is the cancellation cost
Please note you will have to claim your insurance in case of full cancellation, we are more than happy to contact them for you with your booking details. If trying to use booking for any other cake, in case of cancellation, this will only apply if we have date availability, not in on offer cakes and cake style we are available to make.Redemption is not automatic. For date changes,your cake will need to be paid fully prior requesting date changes. Cancellation in less than 6 months notice will carry full payment charge and we will not be able to make any exchanges, redemptions with less than 6 months notice.We might not be able to rebook your cake if we have no date availability for your new booking ( in this cake please contact your insurance ). To rebook a cake date,there is £80 fee, when re booked within 12 months from the original date. or £100 if more than 12 months from original date. Non payment on agreed date for rest payments,will be treated as cancellation,we will not be sending requests for payment or reminders. Booking deposit is non refundable with any order. We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to provide, or delay that is caused by events outside its reasonable control (Force Majeure Event), including any act, event, non- happening, omission or accident which may be due to the following:
-Strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action;
-Civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war or threat or preparation for war;
- Fire, explosion, adverse weather, snow fall, ice, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster;
-Disruption to or failure of the railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport;
-Disruption to or failure of public or private telecommunications networks, the internet, utility supplies or postal services; health and safety concerns;
-Any governmental act, decree, legislation, regulation or restriction, National emergency
Cake testing
We don’t offer free cake testing or free samples.Cake testing sample boxes can be ordered for pick up on one of our testing dates. In winter months these are available to order every 2 months,in summer months only when available.Please note you might have to order months in advance and only if we still have a space available. It is not an automatic right. You can also pick any flavours for your cake from our list of flavours. Allergies
our kitchen store and use products with allergies to some people.Mainly nuts, milk,eggs, gluten, lupin and soya.We are not certified as allergens free premises.We take no responsibilities for people with allegies, as we do not certify any cakes as allergy free. Ingredients for our sponge cakes are
Vanilla, lemon, red velvet and chocolate cakes
Flour (GLUTEN), butter (MILK) oil, sugar, coco powder, food colourings, eggs (EGGS). Jam and flavoured filling contain SULPHATES. Carrot cake contains NUTS
ALLERGENS ARE LISTED IN CAPITALS
Please be advised our kitchen handles all 14 allergens. Be advisable that 14 days cool of period does not apply to cake orders,as they are custom made, hand made, and are booked for a specific date,this mean, that they qualify for exclusion from cool off period.
£100 minimum booking fee is payable for wedding cakes to hold your date,when you cancel your order,at any time,you might be charged £100 admin and processing fee on top of your order,if ONLY deposit is received,and not full payment,it will be used to cover our admin and processing fees. We might agree on a date change, on special circumstances( please note in case of wedding cancellation one occasion cake, standard size will be supplied), AVAILABILITY dependable. Occasions cakes/birthday cakes
We take deposit on cakes booked more than 6 weeks in advance.All other orders needs to be fully paid. All deposits are non refundable,as they secure your date and we only take amount on offer cake which covers our fees. Full payments on short notice orders only, you might change your date if available,but your order will be not refundable. DEPOSITS/booking fee TAKEN ON ORDERS OVER £50,if under £50 full payment will be requested.
