First wedding cake I’ve made in a decade! Fruit cake bottom layer, rich chocolate with cherry jam and vanilla buttercream (Black Forest Gateau inspired) middle and top layers. Top layer also gluten-free.

I love German cakes 🍰 🎂. This weekend I baked a selection to say farewell to a super bunch of colleagues . Looking forward to teaching combined language/baking classes in the future!

This is what I like the most - children being creative and learning to do it for themselves. A great cake and biscuit decorating session for 2-5 year olds. Once our children finished, us mums enjoyed having a go ourselves whilst the children played. “This is the highlight” said one.
