Hello all, hope you’ve been keeping safe and well. It’s been a odd few months hasn’t it?!
Can you believe it’s been a whopping 6 months since we temporarily took the decision to close Bakes by Lou BUT we’re happy to announce we’re coming back!
Our order books will open from 1st September 2020 🎂

I’m afraid the time has come for me to temporarily stop baking your lovely cakes for you.

I will wait until this crazy and uncertain times have blown over before returning to the cake pans, and I hope you will support my return when we can all celebrate with cake 🎂 🧁

📣 In response to health advisory regarding Coronavirus / Covid-19 📣

I feel it is important to let you know how I plan to conduct my food business in the coming weeks and months given my business relies on health and safety and food handling standards.

1. *All Current Customers with bookings from today, 13 March to 30 April 2020* If you have to, for any reason, cancel your event cake due to illness or self isolation, or a ban on public gatherings, your cake will be cancelled and the cancellation fee will be waived. Please just give me as much notice as you can and I will accommodate any rescheduling I possibly can.

2. Should I have to cancel your order due to illness or self isolation for myself or anyone in my household, I will make every effort to give as much notice as I can and any deposits paid for cancelled orders will be returned in full.

3. Sadly, ingredient shortages such as flour are already starting to become evident in many areas. I am making every effort to source what I can to fulfil orders and go on for now as business as usual. If any changes need to be made or modified for your order I will let you know straight away.

Please stay safe, stay calm and wash your hands.
