Kicking off the new year with this elegant sweet 16 vanilla buttercream madeira sponge cake.

Layers of delicate lemon zest madeira sponge, vanilla buttercream and adorned with macarons, white chocolate buttons and fondant roses. 🌹

A mirror gold topper finishes this cake off perfectly.

I just want to take the time to wish all my amazing customers a happy and healthy new year. 🥂

This last year was crazy busy with your orders to which i am so incredibly grateful for. I have slowed down in the last few months, mainly to catch my breath with it all, but also to spend more quality time with my little family. ❤️

I am truly grateful for every message, enquiry, recommendation and order. I do truly put everything into making your ideal cake and make it as special as it can be. I also appreciate all your understanding with price increases. Unfortunately it is happening across the board and baking is no different, but i will always do my best and appreciate your support and understanding. ❤️

I am so incredibly proud to say i have been awarded 5 stars in my food hygiene inspection. So much incredible and positive feedback on my systems i have in place and how i run my little home bakery business.

As many of you know, i am taking a little time out from baking to focus more on my little family and especially my daughter who has just started school. All these precious moments won’t last forever and i want to be more present and in the moment with her. We also have other big things going on that need my attention at the moment, and with all the will in the world, i simply can’t do everything.

I will be back up to full speed and capacity soon, but for now i am trying my best to manage my time better and make the most of these fleeting moments as my little one grows up.

I truly appreciate every single one of you, and i appreciate you all understanding.

Had the pleasure of creating this gorgeous 3 tier buttercream wedding cake a couple of weeks ago for a lovely couple.

We are talking vanilla sponge with raspberry jam, lemon and then delicious Biscoff flavour 😋

Beautiful artificial florals from really made this elegant cake come together and harmonise with the whole decor.

Wishing the couple a lifetime of happiness together xx 🥂

This gorgeous Ruby wedding anniversary cake was a pleasure to create. Celebrating those amazing years, what an achievement!

The base tier was vanilla sponge with gorgeous raspberry jam, vanilla buttercream and beautiful pink fondant, the top was gorgeous lemon! A tonal effect was required, with complimenting artificial florals and a bespoke acrylic topper. Such a lovely feminine take on the classic ruby red anniversary cake. 🎂

Last week i had the pleasure of creating a beautiful classic wedding cake for a lovely couple who were recommended to me by a loyal customer and friend.

They wanted a classic 3 tier (vanilla with strawberry jam, lemon with lemon curd and coffee) white fondant cake, with a little charm with their initials in the centre of the middle tier, finished off with beautiful hand made sugar paste eucalyptus, white and navy carnations and greenery.

It was an absolute pleasure to create (even mid heatwave 🥵) and I’m so glad they had the best day. Wishing you both every happiness together 🥂 xx

This was a 60th birthday cake made for a customer’s brother. 🎂

Vanilla sponges, loaded up with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam. Surrounded by fondant models of his interests and hobbies ☺️

Cakes like these are so cool as you get to really be creative and you just know that the cake is so personal to them.

This was in the heatwave too, so early mornings and late nights were key. ☀️ Hope he had the best day 🍻

Sometimes all you need is a simply beautiful sponge 🎂 ❤️

Beautiful vanilla sponges, layered up with raspberry jam and gorgeous vanilla buttercream. Freeze dried raspberries sprinkled on top add an extra touch of colour and taste too 😋

How pretty is this gift cake? 🌺

Layers of vanilla sponge, layered up with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam. Covered in a pink marble effect fondant, finished with edible gold and artificial florals. My customer had a topper already to go, so i left some room on the too to allow for this.

When i was asked if i could make a Bonsai tree birthday cake, i initially thought ‘yeh of course i can’… then realised what i had to create 😂

I loved creating this, and there’s no better feeling than when a customer is overjoyed with it! The cake itself was layers of chocolate sponge, loaded up with chocolate filling and chocolate buttercream. Covered in fondant, sugar paste tree, and his name on the board in Japanese and his age on the pot!

Wedding cake season is in full swing here at LRB and I’m excited to be able to create your amazing cakes!

This beauty was delivered last week in that gorgeous sunshine ☀️ and truly looked awesome in the venue with all the matching colour scheme. 🌹

The base tier was my classic vanilla sponge, strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream, the top was a delicious red velvet cake, both coated in delicious vanilla buttercream in a gorgeous rustic texture. I use the amazing for the artificial florals, and they never let me down on what i need.
