🌿 Forest Froggies will be back from Friday the 5th of June to the 10th of July. The sessions run from 1.30-2.30pm and are £5 per child. £10 for families with two or more children.

🌿 Come and join us as we notice the changing seasons, celebrate summer and enjoy time well spent together in the woods. 💚🌿🐸

🌿 It was all about the bees yesterday as we celebrated World Bee Day together. 🐝💛

🌿 The trees provided us with some shade and a gentle breeze felt refreshing on what was a gloriously warm day. ☀️

🌿 We sang with our rhythm sticks at the log circle. Explored a sensory bee themed tuff tray. The bee books were a big hit! And made pine cone bees to hang in the woods or take home with us. 📚

🌿 No Forest Froggies next week - we’ll be back after half term. Enjoy the long weekend! 💚🌿🐸

🌱 Today we noticed the ever changing tree canopy so green and a red admiral butterfly joined us at the log circle. Just as we were about to sing our butterfly song. 🎶🦋

🌱 We made rainbow streamers, enjoyed each other’s company and read stories. Our little ones moved their bodies and used their voices in ways that felt good to them.

🌱 We spent another lovely afternoon in the woods again today. The oak and ash are greening up and noticeably provided us with dappled shade.

🌱A caterpillar and cardinal beetle joined us at the log circle and we wondered a bit more about the creature who might have made the hole there…

🌱We sang with our rhythm sticks, enjoyed time together on the blankets and played with our parachute. Hopefully, see you next week in the woods. Or maybe at the mill open day tomorrow. 💚🌿🐸

🌱 Happy May Day! We celebrated with singing, rhythm sticks, parachute play, hapa zome and sharing story books.

🌱 We caught sight of a deer 🦌 coming out of the secret entrance just before we headed into the woods to play. A caterpillar 🐛 was spotted on the willow we were using for hapa zome and another creature has been busy digging a hole in the log circle. 🤔
