Today marks one year since we lost Steve. One year since our lives changed for the worse. This day last year was Stevenās last day earth side, he spent it surrounded by his family, so much love and laughter. A weekend of being with family, walks, dinners together, quality time with the kids. Iām struggling to find the words to describe how I feel as his wife, to explain how deeply broken Iāve been since his death. To most he was the Vegan Bay Baker but to me he was my life, my home. His kindness and generosity, his humour, his hard work and dedication leaves behind beautiful long lasting memories that we carry with us everyday as his family. Iāve been keeping the bakery and Stevenās memory alive by baking his recipes with the children regularly, watching every Leeds United game, speaking about him everyday and leaving him offerings. Thank you for all the support weāve received from customers, suppliers and people who loved our bakery. During the worst year of my life, people have been so incredibly kind. š¤
