It it with a lot of sadness I write this. This week I have made a tough choice in regards to the direction this buisiness is heading..

Unfortunately due the the way our country is operating at the moment I have made this decision to temporarily stop business.
With the cost of living increasing at such a fast rate it does mean that it is hitting small businesses hard. The cost of most of my core ingredients has risen in some situations by approximately 63%.

I did try a couple of months ago to increase my own prices to reflect this but this brought a lot of rude and unwelcome comments and so I lowered them back down. I have never made a lot of money from this is was a passion project for me, a way to help with my mental health by doing something that I love so I was just about breaking even with my occasion cakes however now I am actually taking a huge loss. I have never charged as much as other bakers in the area because I never charged for my time as much as I should have done.

I will be back hopefully in time for Christmas for there is no guarantee of this. I would like to thank you all for your support regardless of it was a purchase or just sharing a post it really does mean the world to me.
