I have entered!! For the first time I have taken the plunge and decided to enter one of the UKs biggest wedding industry awards . I have seen how this has helped other businesses and decided to step out of my comfort zone and put myself in the running. For me the best part is at the end we get to see your anonymous feed back, making sure my couples are happy with their service is my number 1 priority and so if ever there is any improvement needed I am more than happy to listen but even better if I am already doing a great job I know to keep on track. This weekend I had my first vote so thank you 🥰 and if you have had a wedding cake from me between 1st October 2025 and now your votes would be incredibly appreciated. And those whose cakes I am to do between now and 28th September this year, once I have delivered your cake you can also vote.

For the biggest celebration of your life…. Leave it all to us and trust in the professionals to bring your vision to life!
Yesterday I was extremely honoured to be asked to attend the first wedding fair country house.
With a select few other suppliers, offering some of the best wedding suppliers in the highlands.
It was a wonderfully organised day at a beautiful venue, thank you to the lovely staff and everyone who attended and stopped to speak to me, please check your emails for my wedding brochure.

Every couple has a story, and I love translating that into a truly bespoke cake design.

For me, it goes beyond creating something not just beautiful. It’s about designing a cake that reflects each couple’s style, personality, and the details that make their relationship unique. I take time to connect, to listen, and to thoughtfully shape a design that feels considered and personal.

With this couple, we spoke about their love for their favourite genre of film. When the bride shared that her favourite was Shrek, paired with an elegant emerald green colour palette, the design direction became clear 💚✨

Finalist again. Thank you, thank you, thank you…
Tonight is the night of the best North of Scotland wedding awards. I am so so privileged to be a finalist again this year, thank you so much to my 2025 couples who took the time to vote for me, it means so much 🖤
Sadly I can’t be there in person this year which I am absolutely devastated about as I won’t get to see my fellow cake designer friends and other amazing wedding suppliers. But sending so much love to all my fellow finalists, a special shout out to who is not only a finalist tonight but who also took the stunning photo of my cake seen above (fingers crossed for you but amazing to be a finalist)
These awards are only voted by our wedding couples from the past year which makes it extra special to us all.
I wish I could be there but have an amazing time and congratulations to all the finalists and winners 🖤

Where have I been (or bean in this case)

I wasn't expecting to take such an extended Christmas break but it seems January had other plans, sadly 2026 didn't get off to the best of starts for me, but luckily I didn't miss making any of the cakes I had booked in (phew) like this coffee lovers dream cake!

After a rough start I got back to work finally starting my 2026 couples cake consultations (thank you so much to them for their understanding as I had to postpone Januarys) but with the majority now done its time to start on cake designs....

Im on a little break for my birthday at the moment (take a look at my stories to see the view Wow!!) but the second I am back I will be getting started on all of your amazing design ideas and meeting with my last few couples, with all designs sent out by end of April for end of 2026 couples.

I'll also do my best to catch up on social media I still have so many wonderful cakes to show you from last year (if you do have your photos back 2025 couples please do share thank you)

How to Include your furry family in to your big day…

Yesterday evening we had to say goodbye to our oldest furry family member (Shelby) at 18 she did well… and it got me thinking about all the animals and pets I have included in to your cakes over the years and what a wonderful way it is to have them there and part of the wedding day. They can be made as a little keep sake or hand painted on to the cake as I always believe each cake should be a representation of you both and what is more part of you both than family.
I also love including favourite animals on to cakes from highland coos to stags, foxes and birds they all add a beautiful design element to your cake than just flowers.
