Good morning everyone,

That's me back im the shop today. I had a lovely much needed week off. Spending time with family and friends.

Unfortunately due to illness at the end of my wee holiday, I have not prepped up as much as I had planned. Meaning there will be a little less on offer than normal.

There will be:
Coffee
Sausage Rolls
Some wee bites & scones

I will do my best to get sandwich fillings ready and also soup.

Not quite how I had hoped to come back to work but nevermind! I hope you understand.

☆☆☆HOLIDAYS - SHOP CLOSED ☆☆☆
TUESDAY 18TH - TUESDAY 24TH AUGUST
RE-OPEN AS NORMAL WEDNESDAY 25TH AUGUST

After a busy summer, I have decided to close the shop for a week in order to recharge myself and also to be able to spend the last few days of the holidays with my boys, before they start a new year of Nursery & School.

I also want to say a massive thank you to all our customers for your continued support. We are very grateful for you all. We have had some fantastic markets this summer smashing our previous records, as well as our daily takings going up all the time, showing how much we have grown in the last 2 years.

But in order to continue to deliver, I need some time off to recharge.

We will be closed from Tuesday 18th and re-open on Wednesday 25th allowing me the Tuesday to prep the shop ready for another week.

There will be some special offers on Saturday to clear any stock. More details to follow.

DYW dropped by the other week ago to ask me about my career path.

Suppose heres a wee bit about me and my path to Mini Bakes for those who don't know!

As a young girl I had dreamed about owning a wee cafe, however I then took a slightly different career path becoming an outdoor pursuits instructor for a number of years. (Meeting Lewis Smart along the way at Uni).

But life brought be back to baking and cooking and despite no cooking qaulifications, I have worked in a few hospitality places for a number of years, and of course has led to Mini Bakes starting up in 2020 and opening the shop in 2024 (After an opportunity too good to turn down). 😊

And here I am now nearly 2 years on, Happy (and maybe a wee bit stressed 😂) business owner in my wee shop!! 😊

10 year old me would be impressed, and maybe I shall have a wee cafe one day?! Who knows 🤷‍♀️

WE BROKE OUR RECORD!!! 🥳

A massive thank you to everyone who came to our stall at RAF Lossie yesterday, not only did we double my target for the day (based on last years takings) but we ABSOLUTELY SMASHED our previous record for Markets. We couldn't beleive it! 😁

As you can see this is all we had left, and if I had more we could have sold more! We had 3 bags of tablet, a handful of rum and raisin fudge, a few drinks and some coffee bags left!

So THANK YOU we are so grateful to everyone who bought something yesterday,and hopefully we will see you in the shop soon. 😁

Time for a wee rest day, before I have to bake again ready for the shop and for Nairn Farm Show.

Good morning everyone,

Me and Lewis are in RAF Lossiemouth today for their Friends and Family day, so if you are coming this way we look to seeing you.

Shop is closed today, however we will be back open as normal on Tuesday!
