Extremes of anxiety and joy, back to back, all month long.

Weddings and birthdays to celebrate.
Results day nerves.
The whole city buzzing with Edinburgh Festival energy.
A Summer Session that felt like pure release.
Caking helping through the chaos, or vice versa!

Nothing beats sneaking a slice the morning after — glad the orange cake made it into the wedding morning memories!

On another note, October is taster box season.

10 years ago I baked a cake just for fun. I never imagined it would turn into this.

If you’re new here — I’m Catherine, and I design bespoke wedding & celebration cakes from my kitchen in Edinburgh.

Every cake is handcrafted from scratch, no shortcuts, made with the ingredients I’d want on my own table.

A decade in and I still get butterflies on delivery day.

Hitting pause on the piping bags!

Currently soaking up sun, sea and precious time with family and friends in Mauritius — because even cake artists need a moment to breathe (and eat something they didn’t make themselves 😅).
