For Claire & Cooper, who recently tied the knot at the magnificent Borthwick Castle 🤍

We started planning this cake last year, and with their impeccable taste, the couple knew right away they wanted burgundy and gold.

Against the backdrop of the castle, it was the perfect statement. Don’t you think?

September, you were a busy one!

“Two” wild birthday, a unicorn, a burnt orange showstopper, wedding cake prep, and the last of the summer berries. Somewhere in between: freshers week meal prep, dinner with friends, oysters, and a new favourite drink (mango and coconut bubble tea, I’m obsessed).

It ends with 30kg of chocolate arriving at my door, so October is going to be delicious.

For gorgeous baby Anna, baptised a few weeks ago 🤍

Pastels, stencils and pearlised white chocolate sails, all handmade from scratch. Double chocolate cake inside, filled with a smooth Belgian chocolate buttercream.

This one travelled a few hours south of the border to reach her big day!

Such an honour to make this for Forbes Nursery, celebrating 30 years in the community!

This wasn’t just any nursery to us — it’s where our kids took their first steps away from home, made their first little friends, and where the staff felt like family on the hard mornings too.

Congratulations on 30 incredible years. It really does take a village, and you were such a big part of ours. 💛

This was basically an episode of Ready Steady Cook. My cake fridge can’t fit a cake this size, so I had one hour to frost it before it all got too warm and wobbly.
No pressure at all... 😅

Vanilla mascarpone buttercream, slathered on for a rustic finish, then topped with fresh berries and mini roses.
I love how relaxed and romantic it looks.
